here i am, i arrived on thursday morning in buenos aires where the temperature was almost 40c.
i am staying in enrico and rosa's house in san justo, in the suburbs of b.a. not far from the airport, rosa's sister is my father's partner back in italy. they run a pizza, sandwich, empanadas and more take away shop and I am obviously very happy about it given that they are treating me very well....(you all know what I mean !!!!).
we visited their countryside home to water the veggies and trees and to check that everything was ok, it had been recently broken into and the burglars took everything they could. Enrico is going to install an alarm just to be on the safe side, they don´t really keep anything valuable there but the area isn´t very nice and the fact that someone might break in is already bad enough.....
I have met lots of people here, Enrico and Rosa are introducing me to all their friends and everyone is very nice to me, 90% of people I met are of italian origins but I am trying to exercise my spanish as much as I can.
I will stay here for the weekend and hopefully Enrico's brother in law will take me to the bombonera on Sunday night to see Boca play Racing, apparently he is a member of the supporters club and his son works on the door (so it should be ok....), Enrico is a River Plate supporter though so he's not very happy !!!!
You guys should see the cars, vans and trucks they drive here....they are like very big american style vehicles like the ones you see in the movies set in alabama in the 1950s and I don´t think people here ever fix cars after accidents, they just look cooler with bumps and stuff !!!!
Monday I will go to Mar del Plata by bus and stay in a hotel for a couple of night, from there I will start my bicycle ride along the coast towards the south.

keep it up! happy riding, take some pictures of the cars if you can, that sounds very interesting to me.
Had my jaw ripped open today, nearly fainted, but in the end it was all great. I feel fine now, slight pulsating pain but not much... when you come back, I hopefully have a couple of nice new teeth...
