Necochea y Bahia Blanca

I moved to the near city of Necochea on Saturday morning to visit the other side of the coast and be closer to the centre so that I could take the bus to Bahia Blanca today.
After my last night in Quequen where I could appreciate the sunset, and finally have some fish (a nice stew) I arrived in the camping inside the Parque Miguel Lillo, and had a nice parrilla.
The camping was very big and nicely organised, with access directly onto the beach and a swimming pool.
I visited the nearby beach of Las Grutas in the afternoon, riding my bike along an unpaved road infested by dudes on quad bikes (I hate them already !!!!), this is a small version of the more popular resort far down south, where the wind and the sea built a series of caves all along the beach.
On Sunday the weather was a lot nicer and I decided to brave the waters of the Atlantic for the first time, I almost could not feel my feet when I got into the water....freezing !!!!! I managed to throw myself into the water for a couple of minutes and then dried up in the sunshine on the camping's private beach, right next to the public one where many locals had parked their cars and pick up vans to enjoy their Sunday (.....)
After having my third solo and self-made Parrilla in 24 hours, I spent the afternoon enjoying the sunshine in the swimming pool and watching the last football game of the Torneo de Apertura in a bar.
I woke up very early today to go to the Bus Station, dismantle and pack my bike up ready to take the bus to Bahia Blanca, my next stop on the coast.
When I arrived, the temperature was over 35 degrees and putting my bike together again was done quickly, smoothly but not without a few drops of sweat under the curious eyes of two policemen who were asking me a few questions and kindly gave me some directions.
It was a difficult ride under the hot sun but I finally managed to arrive to the deserted camping where an old man offered me some water and explained that there was no hot water, no electricity, no water in the swimming pool and not even water in the sea....
The camping was basically by the sea, but only when the high tide would push the water right in front so that people could make use of the park and the beach, but not now....which meant I would have probably been the only one camping there, in an area that was not exactly nice and near the centre.
I decided to go and have a look in the centre and see if I could find a cheap hotel, and after a nice ice-cream and a few "expensive" options I found it, a room with shared bathroom for 32 pesos (10 Usd)....all I needed for one night !!!!

Sense of humour is as good as ever! I take it the old man was answering `no' to everything you asked him! Be safe.
